Laundry Countertop

This weekend we finally completed a project I've been wanting to do for a long time - putting a countertop over our front-loading washer and dryer in the laundry room. The project took a little thought because we didn't want a permanent countertop due to the fact that the shut-off valves would be underneath it. Our washer/dryer are also super deep, and it was going to be tough to find something that would cover them. But, in the end we installed a preformed laminate countertop that rests on 2x4's, and we're happy with the result. No more missing socks behind the dryer - hooray!
